![]() ![]() Think: modern replacement for rfactor-1 and it's world of mods - yet with actually worthwhile stock- and add-on first-party content. I'll aprove of this message.Īssetto Corsa is my mainstay at the moment, for good reason. I'll tell you this, the Quattro with a FFB wheel in AC is amazing. There are also some rally mods which you could take a look at. I believe they're not rally spec but I think it's close. AC actually has some rally cars: Quattro S1 E2 and Celica GT4 (DLC). I own PCARS and IMHO Assetto Corsa is much better Originally posted by identity:I was gonna buy it JUST for the rally part.Well then, guess I'll wait.Any good suggestions for realistic/simulation racing games?Project CARS caught my eye Never seen a lag since in 1080p 60 Hz on an AMD FX-8120 and a GTX1080 gpu. I had to drop the scenery setting (can't remember what it's called) a notch and disable A-blend. Performance, for me at least, is a lot better than in Dirt Rally. Graphics are sometimes maybe the most beautiful I've ever seen in a driving game, other times pretty "meh". If you have the patience to do a LOT of extreme tuning, I have had some luck getting some cars to almost behave ok.īut the stages are too repetetive and bland.Īnd the pacenotes are just not informative and very badly timed.įorce feedback, if you have a wheel, was crazy with my T150, so that needs a lot of adjustment as well. Hints were recently dropped that Codemasters are working on it, but I'm afraid it will never be as good as either the devs or us players really hoped for. Rally, however, has a lot of issues at the time being. I found Land Rush to be pretty fun, except for the usual AI wanting to play Destruction Derby. Rallycross is excellent, and even more so if you're not bored of the curcuits from Dirt Rally. Depends what part of the game you want to play.
